I Hate Charley AND his horses

Charley and his &*!@ horses have been invading my home on a weekly basis.

I quote from wikepedia: ""Charley horse" is also used to describe leg/foot cramping, especially those that follow strenuous exercise.[5][6][1] These muscle cramps can have many possible causes including hormonal imbalances, dehydration, side effects of medication, or more seriously, diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and neuropathy.[7] They are also a common complaint during pregnancy.[8]It could also be as simple as not enough magnesium or potassium, or too much calcium."

I don't indulge in anything that could resemble "strenuous". Alan I am sure would say I have a hormonal imbalance, but I just think I need more magnesium or potassium. Either way, it's quite painful and never comes at a "convenient" time.

This night this photo was taken I had a cramp in one foot and went to soothe it in some warm water. As soon as the one foot started relaxing, the other one cramped up. I think it's time to start my new years resolution early. Start taking a daily vitamin supplement!

Eat bananas, they're high in potassium. I've heard it works. I woke up with a charley horse in my calf last night. Augggh- it's still sore! I think I can blame mine on pregnancy. I'm trying bananas too. Good luck!
