Is it really October? (Act II)

This is what we awoke to on Sunday morning. I would guess at least 5 inches, but I was not crazy enough to go out and measure it.

With an offer from my mother-in-law to watch the kids this week, we accepted the fact that we had a small chance of dying in a blizzard on the way up to Idaho but we were willing to risk it all for this rare opportunity. It was rough driving all the way up to Tremonton, and then cleared up. Weird weather I must say.

It has been deathly silent since I got home from work today. I'm now going to head out to pick up Alan from the train station and who knows what crazy things we might do. Dylan swears that every night we will watch a movie with popcorn and a milk shake. It is obvious that the weekly blender sounds at 10 pm are still loud enough to wake the poor child. No, I think instead we will eat a few pies (it is pie month of course), do some eating out, and who knows what else.

Date night every evening for 5 days. Alan and I have a hard enough time coming up with ideas for our quarterly/yearly date night. Any suggestions that won't break the bank?

I am the queen of spending no money....puzzles, TiVo's shows, a drive, go to Sam's and sample all the food, play frisbee, Wii challenge, read a book together or alone, clean Amy's house, oops, that one just slipped...

I'm still laughing at whip cream?
Is that Alan's sister? Ha Ha!
Ok, go to a haunted house. I know, I know...I hate them..but you can get all cheesy with each other, and cuddle in the scary parts, or YELL at the darn people! I would suggest coming to visit us, but Mike is in Chicago and my house is NOT quiet. Whip cream....that was a good one.
Use your imagination.

What a fun and quiet week... the whip cream idea is funny! A few weeks ago Jon and I went to Oakley to a new diner. It's called the Road Island Diner-I think. Anyways, it is a beautiful drive and a way fun little place to eat, and it's not at all pricey...We loved it! And the milk shakes are awesome!
