Finally Answering a Tag

My sister Holly tagged me the other day on her blog. I have been mostly blogging and checking email through my phone this last week (which doesn't have copy and paste) so I put off responding until now. Here's one of her tags and my responses.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? No, although there is a rarely spoken of rumor about my Dad having dated a woman named Brenda. We won't go there.
2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Sunday. I left church in uncontrollable sobs. Maybe we shouldn't go there either.
3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? Handwriting no. Penmanship yes.
4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? Turkey (with bacon).
5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? Who doesn't know the answer to that?
6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD THEY BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Probably not unless they were forced to by some fate of nature. I am a tough person to get to know.
7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? All the time.
8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yes.
9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? If I was still 20, yes. After seeing Alan's knee from just picking tomatoes, probably no.
10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Cinnamon Life if I can eat it in the first 15 seconds.
11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? OH YES!!! This is a pet peeve of mine. Seriously, what kind of crazy person doesn't untie their shoes? My kids and husband drive me crazy!
12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? Yes, although I still need to use brute (Alan) for certain things. Some days I'm emotionally stronger than others, but don't give me crap, I'll spit you right out.
13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? Mint chocolate chip
14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? Their emotional state of being.
15. RED OR PINK? Depends on what we are referring to. I used to hate pink, but it has grown on me the last few years as I have embraced my feminism.
16. WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF? My lack of desire to cook.
17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST? My Dad and my innocence.
18. DO YOU WANT EVERYONE TO SEND THIS BACK TO YOU? Since this is on my blog, I'm not expecting it "sent" back.
19. WHAT COLOR SHOES ARE YOU WEARING? None. Earlier I was wearing my polka-dot Sketchers. I love to wear them despite the fact that they clash with my work slacks!
20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE? Bacon. Before that it was a handful of dark chocolate chips and pecans.
21. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW? Kids playing the wii.
22. IF YOU WERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE? Purple or Turquoise. What kind of psychological question is that?
23. FAVORITE SMELLS? Fresh baked cinnamon rolls. Vanilla candles.
24. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE? My brother Ray. He's on his way over.
25. DO YOU LIKE THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS TO YOU? Holly? Depends on the day. Oh, there goes my sarcasm again.
26. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? My kids' soccer games. I always love a good live hockey game too.
27. HAIR COLOR? Brown.
28. EYE COLOR? Hazel with brown and orange spots.
29. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? Yes.
30. FAVORITE FOOD? Salmon or crab (freshly shelled)
31. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? Scary movies, although I hate them the whole way through.
32. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED? Wall-E.
33. WHAT COLOR SHIRT ARE YOU WEARING? White.

35. HUGS OR KISSES? From whom? Probably hugs.
36. FAVORITE DESSERT? I seriously have to name just one? Cheesecake or 4 layer dessert. Anything with cream cheese. Kahlua pie. Hot brownies and ice cream. Cream pies. . . . the list goes on and on.

38. LEAST LIKELY TO RESPOND? Holly since she tagged me.
39. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW? Nothing right now.
40. WHAT IS ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? Mouse pad? How old is this set of questions? Who doesn't have a laser mouse?
41. WHAT DID YOU WATCH ON TV LAST NIGHT? Brothers and Sisters. Finally a family that is more insane than mine.
42. FAVORITE SOUND? My laughing children, so long as it is not at 10:00 at night.

44. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME? Bermuda.
